In that case I think control would advise that the train be stabled. Of course it will need to be moved point to point.

Next time, He going to be taking the Cross Country Service to Badmington via Canterbury!!!

Very good, but in real life I can match that... Last year myself and the driver had to catch a horse which had got loose on the track near Chesterfield, we found it wandering along the four foot (appropriately enough!), and as we were unable to find the owners we eventually left it tied up to the signal post telephone with the horse's owner's next door neighbours awaiting NR staff to get it back into it's field... Unfortunately I have no photos though it did cause us a one hour delay, not to mention the delays to other trains!

A report of two dogs running about the line just North of Oxford Station. When chased by staff they were identified as Munkjack deer (about the sixe of a dog). One ran along the Up platform between the legs of passengers, disapeared under a Voyager stood in the platform and was last seen heading for Hinksey Yard.

Royal Train 67005 parked up at Didcot with a 66.

Maybe we are to expect a royal visitor :)

Last Friday, I saw the Tranz Alpine Express** standing at the derelict station at Ashburton, about 50kms south of its usual route. I took a walk along the platform to see what was up, the loco was idling and the only person to be seen was the driver(?) sitting in the dining car eating his lunch!

**Tranz Alprine Express, New Zealand, daily, Christchurch to Greymouth through the Southern Alps and return.

67026 'Diamond Jubilee' parked up at Didcot station.

Looking very smart in its silver paint 8)

Sadly too dark to take a decent pic :(

Saw the Battle of Britain memorial flight class 91. Has a spitfire and hurricane on the side visible and my fave, thelancaster bomber on the other side. Nice to see this other than your run of the mill class 91. Also, look out for the James Bond 007 train. Did not know what it was until I looked in my camera roll and zoomed in. Could not upload so I found a pic of the web, shame, was a great pic.

A green DCR class 56 shunting up and down the sidings at Didcot.

Never seen that livery before and thought all the 56's had been scraped.
