My first foray into "O"(?) gauge is a Brunel, plus some SM32 track.
My first impression is it looks very narrow-gauge - so when I'm looking for wagon/coach kits what should I be looking for?
O Scale, G Scale or should I put some other criteria into "google"?
My impression is that if I put a little man in the cab he would be about 2.5 - 2.75 inches tall, or about 1/25 scale (This might be something I would do once I have learned to control the loco without melting the little man!)
NB I'm not worried about "prototypical realism" at this stage, but something to put together at not too much cost that we (me plus grandchildren) can have some fun with but doesn't look too out of place.
Thanks - Richard

If it's SM32 you are doing then looking on here will give you the best advice. Probably worth joinng them as well.
