I have been informed that my railway shed has been selected for
George Clarkes Amazing spaces Shed of the Year final.
To be screened this summer. It is now open to the public vote.
This is an opportunity to bring model railways and in particular
standard 0 gauge to the forefront on national television.
Therefore will you please vote for me and ask all friends and family to vote.
Please click on the link below under normal sheds and vote Dream City Railway.

It is important to vote to gain extra air time. Thanks in anticipation. Roy.

HOLY MOLY!!! :o
The 2nd shot left me agog  and that control area.. WOW.
I don't watch a lot of tv these days but I do enjoy Mr Clarke's amazing spaces so will be keeping an eye out for yours, because, well, you know your going to win!
VOTED :D
Can I ask about your screens in the control area. What are they hooked upto, how are they controlled, what are they watching etc?
Thanks

Voted. That's an incredible (model) railway you have there - I hesitate to call it a model because it's so extensive!

Hi All,
Thanks for the votes and comments.
The screens in the control room are c.c.tv screens showing tracks in adjoining sheds
which I cannot see from the control room to aid operation.
30 trains run simultaneously through 17 stations which are named after my Grandchildren.
I have to attend the final on June 10th I will advise win or lose.

Roy.

Thanks for the reply Roy.
So each camera is connected directly to 1 screen and they can see an over veiw of each shed? Or is there more video infrastruture to control them?
Thanks

Thanks for the comments and votes of course much appreciated.
Voting closes 29th May at Noon.

End2end Although the control room is centrally situated 1 camera to each screen as an overview in sheds which are adjoining but cannot be seen from the control room.
