L gauge projects.

You might be wondering "What is L gauge?" If i told you the L stood for Lego you should be able to guess the rest.
This is actually from September and the brake van is partly scrapped, and the locomotive has been savaged for parts to make a larger-scale narrow gauge 0-4-0ST.

First is an "L-scale" or "mini-figure scale" model, not of any prototype really.

The locomotive is not motorised, couldn't get the boiler profile with a motor inside..

The brake van, the inset door technique is one of my favourite. scrapped for parts to start a narrow gauge project.

Next is an odd scaled model, based on narrow gauge 0-4-0ST Hunslet designs.



Cab controls i plan to work on later, and much of the detailing, the colour is also WIP.
The time stamps tell you how long this has been mothballed for.

I used to have some Lego straight trck and a single wagon from when they first made them back in the 1970's. The raisl were blue and the sleepers were white in those days.
