Some very tasty models there

I am impressed with the cab detail on the 1361 and have recently been tempted by a Tower Pug but have yet to succumb to adding it to my very small collection of O Gauge models.

2251 is always a favourite just like the 57xx Pannier.
I don't see myself as a GWR man but Panniers, Autotanks and Collet Goods are all locos that I'd like a lot.. oh Metro tanks too.

Have you got a layout plan in your mind yet and what track are you thinking of using?

a couple of tower brass autotanks went cheap on ebay over the weekend, a GWR and a BR example too, I wasn't tempted I'm not a fan of the 14xx to be honest, and my auto trains/sandwiches will be run using a 4575 I'm going to use Peco Bullhead rail track, seems cheap and reliable enough for my needs.
The tower pug does look very good, but i'd rather have a 1361 to do the same jobs, matches my stock better too.

modern day preserved but with a mainly western region theme, but it allows me to run what I like to a point. I do have a lot of wagons including 7 soon to be 8 that Tom92240 is building for me and a few random purchases not mentioned on here.

I have a Lenz 100 set on order with all the associated bits and pieces I need, (transformer, phone inter faces etc)

anyways, been working on the castle, it's now ready with it's new headboard and sound chip fitted for the weekend and a trip to West Lulworth.

All wagons are to be built and painted by myself, and then returned to Dan for lettering...so when "complete"...not quite complete!

I recognise some of these kits (I think) as Peco (ex-Websters) and Parkside maybe.... but those vents/louvres on the GWR fruit van are particularly fine; who makes that kit Tom?

this may sound a silly question. but do those kits come with the buffers, coupling and buffer beam detail or did you get them from another manufacturer?

Hi Chris,

The Vented Fruit van is a Parkside Dundas kit, along with the Loco Coal and Box van, the rest are Peco Wonderful Wagon kits...(or not so wonderful with the issues I have found on the Pway wagon).

The only other Parkside Kit I have left is the Horsebox.

Headstock detail included in all kits, some with a choice of Instanta or standard 3 link couplings.
