Very enjoyable video.
Seems like you get a good long run on that line too.

Now decided to stop 00 modelling all together so now an O guage layout is the plan, spurred on by a few new purchases, namely a Castle I got for a bargain price, it needs a little work though, it is currently in the middle of this work, mostly cosmetic but also a new gearbox and motor have been bought for it, here are some photos of it in it's arrival condition with a new headboard.

Is that loco etched brass or whitemetal?

it's a mixture of the 2, mainly brass with whitemetal components, it looks quite different now it's had a lick of paint and tidy up, expect photos soon, ordered a sound chip for it too, so it will bark like a castle should! :D

The Earl is starting to come together, just awaiting plates and the correct green to patch up the odd corner or two, then i can crest it and add the sound chip and large speak that will make it BARK!!

wow...you've got quite a few bits and pieces of stock there already

The owner of west lulworth, how man engines do they have? I only saw 2 (maybe 3) but lots of wagons and coaches.

I look forward to seeing more of your additions and especially 5526 when painted :)

Ben

p.s. is your O gauge layout goning to have any orientation? (ie GWR, SR LMS) or is it jsut going to be run what you want with what you want?
A layout is never finished, it's just a shortage of ideas.

Graham (the principal owner of West Lulworth) has an LNER B1, LSWR G6, BR Class 33, BR Class 08, LMS Compound, S&D 7F, LMS Black 5, LMS 2P.

Only the B1, G6, 33, 08 and Compound have ever run on the layout, with the B1 and 33 being in service currently, the others awaiting work.

The rest of the locos are mine :)

Another loco! just finished painting the main part of the 2251, still needs the saftey valve bonnet painting, some crests and plates, the crests and plates are on order as is the sound chip and speaker :D When finished it will be 3205 in BR unlined green.
I have also ordered another new loco today, not saying what is, will just have to watch this space. :D

a couple of new items have arrived, the new loco a 1361 from tower brass, it will be in GWR green when painted, and a bachmann brassworks 20 ton tanker which who knows what livery it will end up in! I shall hopefully soon start on the layout, and a layout thread in the appropriate place, just need a name first and to clear the rest of the 00.

Some very tasty models there 8)

I am impressed with the cab detail on the 1361 and have recently been tempted by a Tower Pug but have yet to succumb to adding it to my very small collection of O Gauge models.

2251 is always a favourite just like the 57xx Pannier.
I don't see myself as a GWR man but Panniers, Autotanks and Collet Goods are all locos that I'd like a lot.. oh Metro tanks too.

Have you got a layout plan in your mind yet and what track are you thinking of using?

Christopher D.
