They sure do! The point is by showing smaller step more people might try their hand at it.
Any particular reason you build the roof from strips instead of bending a sheet?

Re: G scale class 25 and Mk1 Suburban
I made the roof in strips to try and gain some extra strength, because it is laminated from 2 layers it holds its shape independently of any supports underneath and has come out very strong. I also like to try different ideas, its not the quickest way and I may not use it again.

Not much to show for tonight's efforts, hinges and guttering.

Well, it is more then I have done this month...
Good idea about the 2 layers strips. Hadn't seen it that way, I tought you used different thickness to bring the relief in the roof. Another idea to remember.

Today has been one of those Saturdays when I hoped to get a decent bit of modelling time but didn't.
In the 20 mins I did escape to the shed I decided a coat of primer was in order. I find it helps to find what needs attention.

Re: G scale class 25 and Mk1 Suburban
Work has started on trying to replicate the feel of the cab interior of the 25. The first part being the front consol. This is made from some plasticard off cuts and other bits of scrap from the bit box. The dials are images composed on the computer and reduced to fit. They are composites of various interior cab pictures I could find merged together.
