Midland 1532 class is so obscure there isn't even a wiki entry for it! I wonder what inspired that choice?

It's more commonly known as the 1P class - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locomotives_of_the_Midland_Railway

That covers 4 classes of 0-4-4Ts, plus a singleton loco. I wonder if some forwards thinking has been done here because the earlier 1252 class is very much identical but with larger drivers? Gives a total of 95 locos to choose from.......

Nothing there to get me excited, nothing there for the Scottish Modeller once again, if they wanted to do an 0-4-4 the Caledonian one would have been nice :(

Jim
This Signature Left Intentionally Blank, but since I have written this and I intended to do it, this Signature is intentionally not blank. Paradox or What?

I couldn't agree with you more Jim, Those cally 0-4-4T were fine machines, and having been lucky enough to have a cab ride on the survivor I would HAVE to buy one in that livery ;)

Typical of manufacturing companies, Jim. Ignoring a large range of items and a huge market of Scottish based layouts.

Mk1 CCT for GBP45.00 and that may not be the final price. My old Lima variant at around one-quarter this cost are looking better now. The anticipated retail on some of the rolling stock makes the eyes start to go blurry.

i just don't understand it - they brought out the D11/2, and keep bringing out new versions of it. So it must be selling OK (?)

Why wouldn't a J36 & D30 do equally well, if not better?

No updated 43xx or Manor, sorta sad about that. Looks like the only new thing I'll be getting is the Stainer mogul

Something still very wrong inside the Kader group. On that showing I don't anticipate any return to what was once the brand that set the pace for new OO introductions that opened up new areas to model. None of the 'all-new' announcements are likely to arrive quickly, you only have to look at how much 'previously announced' product is still barely started into the process of moving from announcement to actual model going on sale, as they list it!

The MR 0-4-4T is a 'sensible' choice in my book. Small passenger tank for the LMS/LMR area (which dominates their range already) and fills a gap in provision; could be seen from the South Coast up to Yorkshire - roughly half the country - so it will sell well enough. I would estimate availability as 'about 2022'.

Re previously announced models
I) the Stanier Mogul and Thompson coaches (BR cream/crimson version) are en-route from China,
II) the Webb Coal Tank, Class 70/8 and Class 450 are in production,
III) tooling has been accepted and the "artwork" (livery application) is being worked on for the LBSCR H2 Class 4-4-2, 4TC for Kernow , SECR Birdcage coaches, WD Warflat and the 22T Double Bolster wagon and 22T Plate wagon for TMC,
IV) samples from the new toolings have been made for the FFA/FGA Freightliner Flats and TPO Stowage Van and WD Warflat
V) toolings are being made for the BR Mk 2F coaches and DBSO as well as the 009 range (Baldwin 4-6-0PT, 3 plank bogie open wagon and Ambulance van)
VI) Classes 24/1, 90, 117 , 121 & 158, the Ransomes & Rapier 45T steam crane, Class B Bitumen TTA tank wagon and the DCC Chassis upgrade for the J72 Class 0-6-0T are at the stage of having their engineering drawings done
ii) the 94xx, Class 414, the new V2 body moulding and the DCC Chassis Upgrades for the J39 0-6-0 and Parallel Boiler Royal Scot remain at the initial R&D stage to which presumably can be added the new models now announced.

The 009 range is supposed to be out this year as well... Though announced years ago!

I'll bet you are able to put that into a post this time in 2018. It's taking a year from the accepted EP samples being shown to product going on sale, and they haven't even got the tooling from which to make the EP samples yet.
