Did the metro tank share the same wheel size/spacing as the later 14xxs did? (albeit the other way round). If they did, then Bachmann could do both models and drop a well deserved stinker on Hornby at the same time.

Well i would like to see them get the 2011/12 range they announced done first. However, i am still going to list a few things:
Split Chassis to DCC Ready
J72
J39
Manor
New Models
J15
Riddles 2mt 78000
Duke of Gloucester (more likely to be a Hornby model as they have the Brit and Clan, but who knows?)
Class 07 Shunter
Gas Turbine 180000 Kerosene Castle
Retooled Models
Ivatt 2mt tank

Coaches
Retooled Bulleid Stock
Hawksworth Saloons (like the N gauge versions)

Wagons
Um...anything GWR or SR for me.

Retooled Bulleid stock would be nice ... maybe they will, maybe they won't!

Either this model year or next I am tipping a SouthWest Trains class 450 Desiro. :)

They are currently setting up the Kernow 'Thumper' class 205 units so there is some possibility of a 2HAP unit and the spin-offs possible from that (4CAP and 2SAP).

A mixture of new tooling and more chassis upgrades on existing locos, like their B1, A4 and V2:
New tooling:
A LNER pre-group 0-6-0, my prediction is for either a NER J21 or NBR J36
BR Std 2 2-6-2T with options for backdating to the Ivatt version
2HAP, following on from the 2EPB
RNA barrier wagons (ex-HEA) to go with the FNA nuclear flask

Scenecraft 1950s pre-fab council housing
Severn Valley Railway station buildings set

Upgrades with new DCC-ready chassis:
GWR Manor
GWR 43XX
158
170

New sound-fitted locos:
G2
S&D 7F

New liveries:
2EPB in blue/grey without NSE branding and headlight, and in EMU green with early emblem
G2 in LNWR lined black (Collector's Club version)
37/5 in Loadhaul

Bachmanns 2011 release of Dukedog's and C-Class wont be out till around middle of this year, there are some delays on it.

I would expect more multiple unit announcements, since they seem to have found a very good market for these. The ideas suggested above of a logical 'follow on' from the class 205 EMU are sensible, but maybe once that model is out. I wonder if they will go for 25kV suburban unit to run alongside the class 85; they have been pretty good at that sort of joined up thinking in the past. Still a big list of BR DMU's to choose from, and so far Bachmann have gone for the most numerous classes for which no model was available. They haven't done a suburban set yet, and class 116 is the most numerous type without a model; but there are just so many candidates, and the class 120 has regularly been well placed on the wishlist. (The way Bachmann are going, by 2022 they wil have the MU market near 'sewn up'.)

They have only two all new steam locos outstanding, GWR and SR. Normally they have a list of five or six, so I can see at least three annoucements. Something for LMS, they have the chassis and tender already, could that be a Stanier mogul? It's a regular wishlist candidate. Something for LNER, hopefully a small goods from the 'J's. They also have a well proven 4-4-0 chassis, could this be the year of a Claud or Director? If they are going to do an eight coupled goods machine, and they have been doing one a year recently, it's all to play for between the NER Q6 and LMS Austin 7.

Still the A4 and V2 split chassis renewals to come through, and I would guess at them announcing two or three more for the treatment in the next round. They already have a lot of parts to tackle the Ivatt 2MTT and Gresley V1/V3, and maybe something like the 43xx?

Coaches, not a clue. Another BR mk1 type seems like a good bet, perhaps the BSO? I cannot help feeling that LMS suburbans need a model and the wishlist says so too, and Bachmann have lots of suitable locos to pull them. Also on the wishlists, the SECR Birdcage types and they have an SECR loco coming...

There will be some sort of contemporary wagon, but those who know what's wanted will have to supply suggestions. For steam era hopefully they will follow on from the LNER/BR steel opens and vans, and knock out a similar selection of standard LMS/BR vehicles, the distinctive corrugated end opens and van designs (these were only some of the commonest vehicles on BR, and have no current models). Some other LMS/BR vehicles are going begging, the 20T cokes, anhydrite hoppers, variant LMS brake vans too.

Some good well thought out suggestions there. Steam wise I think anything could happen. If you look at their last two entires, the C and the Dog, neither have ever scored well in polls, but as we know examples of both still exist, so will we see examples of existing steam locos next irrespective of their poll popularity? Time will tell!
