You will probably pay that much if noy more on ebay, with your membership you get a Bachmann catalogue, a nice calendar, four really good magazines a year, and the club wagon, plus the opportunity to buy these club models, that icludes all that are still available...

Plus some shops will give you 10% discount. My memberships to both Hornby and Bachmann have paid for them selves 3 times over.

I was a member some years ago to buy 57601 and the again to buy the Blue pannier at Didcot. But let it lapse, I might be tempted to join again to get the flask depends on whether I decide to keep my model railway WRD steel traffic only or ship in some flasks for maintenance.
