I visited Rudy Heisse about ten years ago.
Good, very friendly fellow and an amazing modeller.
His trains room had three layouts, all narrow gauge, of which I still can recall to the tiniest detail. (That is something if you know how my lone brain cell's memory function has been affected by cxhemotherapy in 2010).
I have learnt plenty from that visit and was delighted by seeing his work and deduced his workplace would be a hundred times mine...
Well, I was wrong. It was just an small table in a corner of the room, beside a window, that had passed unnoticed for me. The only machine was an improvised, very basic, simple table circle saw and that was it. I couldn't believe it...

Here a bit of what I've seen by then but through his own films:

I know there are more films about and will post them as soon as I can find them.

Thank you. Mountain.

It is such a pity that Magic Train is not more in production. The 0-4-0 chassis with it's Allan valvew gear is beautiful but also really goodworking.
I have two, already choped and waiting for something to happen but if I get a chance will buy one or two more.
