It is in Dutch and French but is totally new to me and has some very interesting photos of a Belgian military 60cm gauge line...

Worth engaging Google translate or other translator.

This is an old photo from my old Flickr. It always makes me smile because it loos as a 1:10 scale figure set in an 1:5 scale garden loco...

I posted some time ago about "LA BRIQUETERIE DE SAINT AUBIN", a beautiful 1/24 scale layout running on 16.5mm track representing 400mm gauge.
If you see also the second page wuou'll see the construction of those operating skips made from card...

... and if you think "Such a layout in 1/24 scale must take a lot of room...", here you see Jacky with the full \ briqueterie' during the modelli ng days at the Smalspoor Museum in the Netherlands in 2014:

There is a no left hand sign on his layout for right handed people? Is a nice little layout.

Yes,Mountain, it's a little jewel. The day I took that photo I couldn't believe those so good operating skips where mede of card!
I thought it would give you some ideas for your 2ft x 6ft thread.
This is much smaller and still a much bigger scale. Actually twice as big as 0n30.
