009 Peco Points

Postby Pete » Sat Oct 12, 2013 9:53 pm

Would anyone know if Peco 009 points are the same size (length) as the equivalent N-Gauge points?

I'd like to try some plans out using some Peco N-track I have, before purchasing proper 009 track.

Peco have all the details for their points online:

http://www.peco-uk.com/prodtype.asp?str ... osition=41

http://www.peco-uk.com/prodtype.asp?str ... Position=1

The above give you the length, degree of turnout and radius. The simple answer would appear to be no, they are not exact matches, though if you used Peco N gauge 12" and 18" points they wouldn't be too far out, just compare them and use the one which matches the closest!.
