LENZ digital set 01, what's it worth

Post by heda »

Son in law having a clear out and has asked me to sell this for him, I'm intending to post it for sale on here before resorting to ebay, but no idea what it's worth. I'm thinking £200 plus postage/courier cost, is that realistic. It's the Set 01 plus transformer TR150

LZ100, LV100, LH100, TR150 Tested and working
Handbook, decoder untested

The LZ100 and LV100 are very old - the version 3 manual on the Lenz web-site is dated September 2000. Both were replaced by the combined LZV100 which has itself been replaced by the LZV200. You therefore might struggle with these two. But the LH100 handset and the TR150 power supply have value and it should be possible to sell these items separately on Ebay.

At the proposed price you'll get a buyer from someone that wants the most bombproof system imaginable to programme and run their DCC locos.

Before putting it on sale you might want to ask A&H models (UK Lenz Agent) about the upgrade capability on this system, just in case a potential buyer asks.

Thanks for the replies, I'll list it on here at £200 and see if 5here's any interest, it looks like the TR150 is worth around £50 so I think it's a fair price for the lot.
