Hi,

Will this power supply be ok to use with Hornby Select controller?

I think probably yes but you might have trouble matching the size of the centre pin on the Hornby select connector. To be on the safe side I would buy one with a range of removable connectors.

I am sure that 6.3 x 3mm plug is the same as Hornby kit. As long as the positive is on the pin and not the sleeve.

Thanks for replies.

At least I have options that are cheaper than the Hornby one.

When I was using a select I purchase a cheap unbranded 4.5amp power supply for it. The select continued to operate perfectly until I purchased an NCE years later.
