Reset CV for Dapol Class 68

Postby triuph1050 » Sun Sep 30, 2018 5:03 pm

Hi people
for future reference, as a "just in case" anyone know what CV setting is to reset the Dapol class 68 factory fitted sound decoder. I know what it is for my Bachmann and Hornby's decoders, had to reset the class 67 today and she's working fine now, so it made me realise I don't have info for Dapol. Is it 8 like the rest of them?
Cheers Peter

Don't know, and don't assume either, there are many 'reset' codes as it is a manufacturer choice not a defined variable.

Is this information not in a poop sheet in the box? Would seem very remiss of Dapol not to have included such information.

Go to Dapol's website and have a look there would be my next suggestion.

Dapol are using their own Imperium branded decoders
According to the data sheet reset is CV8 value of 4.

Broken? It was working correctly when I left it.

Yes thanks Flashbang, just found that out to on Dapols site and as this is a 2nd gen factory fitted version I'm sure that's right. No need to reset just yet as all is well but it's nice to know.
Cheers Peter
