Hi Lofty, things have been a bit busy since I returned from the big trip.

I became a Granddad a week ago to 2 little girls Daisy and Grace. Unfortunately my Daughter Nicola had a very bad time giving birth to them, its only now that we can relax a bit as her health is improving.

Its going to take me some time to find the updated pictures in peoples Personal layout threads that meet the criteria for inclusion to the next Virtual exhibition, I have started to put it together, but it's not as easy as it used to be and takes longer finding all the necessary pictures.

New Railway Modellers Virtual Exhibition 5 is in production if your Personal layout pictures meet the criteria that is:

The picture has to look like an exhibition layout would, finished and clear of clutter i.e beer cans, cups of tea etc.

The picture has to be in your personal layout thread, not a link to a personal web site.

Its better if the picture is landscape not portrait shaped for editing, also close to the maximum allowed size for the forum or a click-able thumbnail to full size.

The picture has to be good quality, dark or blurred would not be included ( although I'll try my best with some in photoshop)

If you know of pictures like this, then I need you to let me know in which Personal thread the pictures are in using this link

Hi Aidan, nice to have you back on the forum again. Congrats on becoming a Grandad.

I don't know if you've looked at my site but a bit more ballasting has been done and i have the southern steam out at the mo.

Thanks to Chris (Raider) for sorting out the first posting on this thread, over time most of the links had been corrupted, so now they should all be working once again.

Thankfully Micheal this is the only one I don't have to worry about, as the singer/song writer gave me his permission to use the music Track, well I presumed you did, I don't want to end up with another threat of court action

LOL

does make me think though that there must be musicians on the forum that could knock together tracks for you pretty easily. I don't have any software or recording facilities at the moment so couldn't but someone must be able to

It would be an answer and as you write we do have musicians on the forum, but it depends on what the music sounds like, we do have a lot of members who have cats as a last resort. :D :D :D

I did have an attempt my self and it's turned out to be my most watched video, with over 12,000 views to date,
Wigan Model Railway Exhibition Pictures
I'm not sure if its the pictures or the porno music, as the only comments I receive for it on Youtube are about the porno music. :o :o :D

That will solve the current problem, I look forward to hearing your music, it needs to be around 4 minutes long, and of varying tempo like the recent music used on the virtual exhibition.

Hello Aidan,
Many Thanks for an awesome 8 hours of viewing. How true that you never know what you'll find until you take the time to look. So many modelling ideas and it's great the way you have compiled them. Thanks for all your efforts and the time you have dedicated to this project,
Kind Regards,
Michael Thornberry.
