Hi rejrob,

To embed images from Photobucket all you have to do is open the photo and on the side there should be a drop down box. Under 'Links' copy the link of the 'IMG code' and then paste it right into your post on here.

Hopefully this may be of some help. Here is a screenshot of an image from one of my Photobucket albums.

Clicking on the bottom highlighted link will save the code needed to post directly to the forum. The other link would take the viewer to the image in the Photobucket album

having done all that was required there does not seem to be a good conclusion The computer,an apple, belonged to our son and was purchased in Oz and although we use it here there are still details relative to him which cannot be removed Comp friendly i am not.I just wonder if this is the cause of the problem or just that i am a throwback to a forgotten age :D Will keep trying Ron ana rejrob

Ron, after you put your pics into photobucket click on the edit tab. A row of symbols will come up at the bottom of the picture, then you can resize the picture to 800pxs across you can also crop the image to 800pxs. You can't post images more than 800pxs width on the forum. When you've done the resize click the apply tab you then click save the image, or replace the original. Then just copy the IMG code and paste it in your message/post and preview to see if the image comes up.
Well that's how I do it. Hope that helps.

If you post a link to the PB page that they are on, we should be able to resolve your problem.

Is this one of your pictures?

I assume so, which means that you have successfully uploaded to photo bucket so we are half way there

Image

When looking at your PB album, underneath the pictures you will see 4 light yellow boxes, the lower one of these has the term "IMG Code" you just need to copy the contents of the yellow box and post it into a post on this forum, as per GeoFF03's post above.

Hi, I am not sure what size your original pictures are, but:

When you select upload on the PB site and it opens a window with the green box in the middle saying "Select photos and videos"

You should see a little link just above the green box saying "Customize your upload options"

If you click this you will be given the option to resize your pictures as they upload. Select 800 x 600 and they will be the right size for this (and other) forum.
