Thank you for the comments guys, appreciate it.

Chris (Terrier) Thanks yes as the layout gets older now... and as do I, i guess eye for detail or quality improves... and im sure as you say you been following since the early days.. if you build more skills improve. Sadly I dont have to many friends who are knowledgeable on the loco kit building front... so i have to learn the hard way. Bit like the o2, NLT, have had big steps up in quality and finish.

Background wise, I tried a photo background before this one was put in place it didn't work to well... and was difficult to get the size I wanted.. and would of had to of gone to a special printer place for the size I really want, which means more money. plus I did an expirement with it.. and one winter done it had made the paper go all wavey... which didn't help, I did attempt to photograph the hedge row / tree line at the back of Horsted.. again.. wasn't easy due to a number of rolling stock being in the way... and photoshopping was a nightmare.

What I was looking at was re-doing it / Repainting it, as the blue was a bit too much in your face... so was going to tone it down, which I will get round to eventually, or Ill just take it as a learning curve and improve that for the next layout when ever I start that...

Hope this answers your question Chris.

Regards
Matt

A few more recent shots of the layout, mainly of the nearly complete Wills / SE Finecast U-Class and also Fenchurch, with the new Camera.
