The photos are really excellent and the concentration on older locos makes it refreshingly different. Thanks for sharing.

A few photos of Kernow's O2 tank, taken last month this model is K2101, W24 Calbourne the only survivor which is based on the Isle of Wight. This model is modelled as preserved back in 2010, the loco is at this time being repainted in to BR late crest.

More nice pictures Matty. When the whole is this good who needs to go looking for minor errors/compromises. Scenic railway modelling is an art form, for the rivet counter there's IKB's delightful water tinted working drawings, for the romantic there's WM Turner's "Rain, Steam and Speed" and we all fit somewhere in between.
Growing old, can't avoid it. Growing up, forget it!

The sister O2 arrived a week before Christmas, numbered 16, Ventnor, the model runs silently with it's coreless motor, Only small adjustments were made to the back to backs which were 0.5mm out, model pulls well for it's size and out performs the Hornby M7 by pulling 6 coaches on the flat double of what the M7 is capable of.
Sadly I do not have any suitable rolling stock so like most IOW locos it's either double headed due to the air brakes or on freight.

A few photos from yesterday, showing the finished K's Kit of an ex-LBSC loco, SR, K-Class numbered 2341, not a very well known fact that the Bluebell at one point nearly saved a K-Class but the more important purchase of the line came first and sadly an opportunity to preserve one was lost.

A few more recent photo's after the magazine photographer has been, plus some refurbished and new models:

After 7 years of being built from a Dean Sidings kit, 178 P-Class had the transfer treatment to improve how it looks, SECR insignia from Fox

Recent arrival, H-Class 263 (308) has had quite a bit of work done, adding pipework, rivets to the smokebox, painting and lining the roof, although not quite complete yet, as homemade transfers will be applied to the sand boxes.

And on page 22 in the January issue of Railway Magazine Guide to modelling! I'd know that layout anywhere even if it is just one shot.
Congratulations mattmay. :D
Thanks
