Nice model - don't think I have seen that done before.

This Signature Left Intentionally Blank, but since I have written this and I intended to do it, this Signature is intentionally not blank. Paradox or What?

This one is in its fourth phase (Actually fifth!). Started life as a blue Hornby 0-4-0 andi think it had something like Lancashire and Yorkshire or something like that. I bought it new around 25 years ago. It used to have dull red wheels.
Then it was converted to 0-16.5 (I guessed the height of the cab and chimney) and I was going to use it with a rake of cheap Hornby Jif plank wagons for an outdoor line, which didnt get too far. I painted it green.
Then I converted it back to 00 using an old Triang cab from an old 0-4-0 which was passed it. The style of the cab came from a continental type of shunter that had a big square raised dome. It was painted black and I painted on the letters L.D.R. (Llwyndrissi Dock Railway). Also painted the Jif wagons a purply type colour and painted on LDR. I was in my late teens then or early 20's.
Then I took the cab off and chimney off and it sat in a draw for ages. The chassis was swopped for another loco so this now had black wheel inserts and the blackened wheels and con rods.
Then work started. All old paint was sanded off. A new cab was made along with a new chimney. A new coat of black paint was applied. The buffer beams have been extended ready to fit a central buffer and coupling. Name and number plates have been fitted. Cab has a few internal features. A gauge made from an old watch battery and a wire to represent a pipe. Also an accelerator handle thingie.

Next. Something green and brown.
