Out on a drive in Northumberland today( 2nd June 2019) and called in to the Aln Valley Railway for 'ten minutes'.
Here are a few photographs.

Beautifully done photos. As a desert rat, I find the cloudy skies charming. That copse of pines in the background behind the
switcher, can one meander in it? Looks enchanting.

Also, I had painted my foot bridge gray; what I am familiar with on this side of the pond. It will soon be green, but I am
not sure how to accomplish the elegant pin striping in OO.

Hi Chops. Glad you like the photos. We had no intention of really visiting Aln Valley Railway, but we were on a drive around the County of Northumberland and ‘called in’. We were there about thirty minutes.
They are really friendly bunch of volunteers.

I do not know whether anyone can wander among the copse.

The footbridge looks rather charming. I am after one of similar design for my layout. As for the pin striping perhaps someone on here knows an easy solution.

The color is rather uniquely British. I cannot find such a color here in the US thus far. Sort of an Apple Green, but with a dark undertone.
Could you recommend a brand/color that would replicate it?

Those locomotives ooze character.
