A few photos from my visit the to the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railways over the recent Bank Holiday weekend.

Great collection of photos, Peter, thank you. For those of us who might, for one reason or another, never visit the areas shown, these photo collections posted by various members are greatly appreciated by many of us. Thank you, gentlemen.

Excellent photos. Did you travel on the Welsh Highland Railway or just the Ffestiniog Railway? Am I right in thinking that some of those pictures were from the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway (as opposed to the Welsh Highland Railway)?

I travelled on all three railways whilst I was there. The photos of Russell were taken at the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway on the Saturday. I didn't get too many photos from the Welsh Highland Railway though except at Porthmadog as I didn't take my camera out on the Sunday which is when I was on the WHR. Monday was the Ffestiniog which I managed to do two round trips on.

I am glad the photos have been enjoyed!
