First day of the year out photting last Friday. All in all a great day considering I only had 3 hours. Managed to get three classes, plus double headed 66's and the Network Rail measurement HST!

OK it's been over a year since I posted somepics. Trouble with sciatica and a general lack of time mean I have been unable to get out much but here are a few shots. Hope you like them.

First up a scene at Heyford that would make a great layout. Especially with the small canal basin next door.

Cheers Adam, It wouldn't have been you driving would it?

The photo was taken on the 8th Feb and is indeed 6B13 tanks. About 25 yrs ago I took a photo of a 37 in the same spot in fog and wanted something similar. I think it could have been better but there isn't much fog around now to have another go :-)

I will have to check the diary Stuart but it rings a bell!....If you find the bag as near to the window as possible then its either me, or another driver who does the same thing to identify himself on pictures

OK, It's been a while since I posted but as my new attempt at a model railway will be starting soon I'll probably be more active on the forum. To get things going here are some shots from over the summer. To put a limit on things I've decided not to include more than one shot of any class. Bad luck for Shed lovers :-/

Cheers PT, the 67 is in the rather fetching Arriva Trains Wales Livery. 67's are used on the WAG (Welsh Assembly Government?) service between Holyhead and Cardiff. It's funded by the WAG to enable closer ties between North and South Wales. One in the morning going south and a return in the evening.

Here's a better look at the livery.........

Given the timings I'd say it's more likely being run for the benefit of Assembly Members to commute, rather than spending their week-nights in Cardiff.

Ahh - so that's why de-branded 57s have appeared at Preston. Cheers!
