An an unusual livery, your interpretation

Train entering tunnel at Villefranche-sur-Mer (France) on its way to Nice.

JAPANESE RAILWAYS - Probably the Worlds most sophisticated rail network !
Well in addition to all the posts in the Model Railway photgraphic section on my new 87ft x 24ft OO gauge layout "Basingstoke 1958-67". I thought I would add something about another rail system I have an interest in, having been the Editor in the past for the British based Japanese Railway Society.

Above: Japan Railway Freight (company) Class EH200 1500v DC overhead, 8,000hp, Bo-Bo+Bo-Bo 3ft 6in gauge type. Billed as the worlds most efficient and pollution free design. Named "Blue Thunder"

Above: My 5inch gauge model of the real loco seen above. Which I built in 3 months in 2002. The model caused a bit of a stir in the Model Engineering world, as being one of the first Fully detailed Modern image designs. It also proved that it could perform as well as 7.5inch gauge locos in pulling power. As this beast was fitted with 8 x 150watt traction motors (Total 1.2Kw), and had a recorded top speed of 18.5mph. At the "Strawberry line" ground level track near Bath, it hauled 40 school children and 2 adults continuously for 45 minutes, before we had to stop to let the kids go to the loo ! The loco is coupled to a "Control car" based on a Japanese Sleeping Car Generator van. Scale working Buckeye couplings also used. Seen here in a friends garden just before I sold the loco. The model is also named "Blue Thunder".
