I think this coach is from South Africa or Asia owing to the "AS" and "SA" on the undercarriage. Repurposed outside an Indian resturant in Kent somewhere.

Did you check the gauge of the track it was standing on. South Africa would be 3'6", doesn't look like India or Ceylon, they have High roofs and low windows, and would be on 5'3" bogies.

Unfortunatly not Bufferstop. It was on our Sunday wanders so more of a stop, take a couple of photos and move on.
I don't know if it's relevent, but the Indian resturant is called Mumbai Central. It's located on London Rd, Halsted, Kent TN14 7AA.

A wildcard, but sticking with coaches.

The Rainhill Trials Exhibition Coach, based at Rainhill library, Lancashire, houses the exhibition. The access through the library is on the other side.
