This is Laigh Milton Viaduct, The worlds oldest surviving Public Railway Viaduct, which carried the Kilmarnock and Troon Railway over the river Irvine, built in 1812.

An eerie location.
Deeply shaded and sometimes an echo from passing trains on the mainline which is just behind and above the camera's POV.

Locomotive and rake of carraiges. Class 90 and a rake of four mk3s +DVT on a North Berwick to Edinburgh train at Prestonpans, during the time they were drafted in to cover a shortage of EMUs

The electricity industry is missing out on a great bit of publicity, "how many years the original battery sets they provided have lasted". Perhaps they should give them a modern replacement set for such a staggering performance.
