Adam's Photo trip (update)

well when i go out and about with my father i try and take as many photo's with me! but if anybody wants me to try and get a photo for them then i will try :D

the first 2 photo's are of the old station in my village which closed with the collieries in 1969 :D

the 1st pic shows the bridge and station, the track way is now used as cycle tracks.

well seing that many months have past since i last posted pics :P , im going to upload a few more which was taken monday afternoon (26/02/07)
We took the steel coils from Margam to Trostre steel works onboard 66002

1st pic shows 37411 + 37425 stabled in margam depot

Nice - I've never been to Margam and would really like to! Is it easy to get real close to the locos?

Dave, its easy to get really close to them,
you can even have a look in the depot if you wanted too
but its best to ask someone 1st to have a look around the place. But otherwise you can simply take pictures of the stabled locos either around the depot or in the knuckle yards :)

Thanks for the pix, Adam. Although it looks not unpleasant now, the old station platforms do look a bit sad and forlorn. Rather sad really.

Here we go then with another update :) These were taken a long time ago but due to time and being a bit lazy only NOW are they being placed on here :lol:
