Nice pic shame about the Loco :lol: can safely say did not take many pics of strumming devises :lol: Interesting though as another livery that was shortlived and quickly superseded.

Nice class 47 there, the drab railfreight livery never really suited them making them look down at heal and work weary, they were best in two tone BR green with totem or BR Banger Blue when first outshopped and clean with large BR logo and with yellow axle box covers.

Have to say the Deltic/class 55's were never the most handsome beast, they were however stunning performers and that sound when moving away was sheer diesel poetry!

The class 70 Fuglies don't float my boat either, they are hideous looking beasts, they look like something designed by commitee after a night on the town, more Frightliner than Freightliner.

No Paul only one loco looked good with painted axleboxes and that was Vacs and one Old Oak Common machine had a red stripe through the axleboxes :D
