Apologises for not uploading the last photos that i said i would, i lost track of time and they are now buried on photobucket!
Anyway, today was my first day of a 10 day long holidat in Yorkshire, of course i couldnt travel up without any railway activity, so here are the photos from the first stop of the journey, the Ribble Steam Railway, lovelt place, first time i had been, and wont be the last!
Image
Walkden running round the train.
Now museum shots:
Image
Sentinel Gasbag.
Image
Lancashire and Yorkshire A class 1300.
Image
2mt 46441
Image
Lancashire and Yorkshire Pug 19.
Image
LNWR Ramsbottom Tank.
Now compare these next two photos to see the what Ribble can do to a loco:
Image
Windle, once a resident at the Middleton Railway, now being restored once again at Ribble.
Image
Sister engine The King, superbly restored in the museum.
Embsay photos soon everyone!

Image
A row of sad looking locos :(
Image
Gothenbug passes our train at Stoneacre Loop.
Image
Finally a sentinel of some sorts, lovely looking loco, might make a good project, wonder if dapol have any spare sentinel chassis?
Thats it till tomorrow!
Enjoy!

Nice collection of photos Kenny. Particularly like the small tank locos, makes a change from the usual big mainline stuff.

Nice to see Pickering returned to its former glory. They never even properly finished the demolition of the old roof, odd bits of metal sticking out of the stonework etc.
