First video of 2013, and to be quite frank it is a bit rubbish. 34067 Tangmere was part of an ECS move from Southall to Carnforth, but the whole lot was being pulled by a Class 47. I also got blocked by one of the few remaining Class 321s. Still, 34067 was in steam, so better than nothing!

Video of the ill fated Steam Dreams 'Cathedrals Express' trip to Holyhead behind 60163 'Tornado'. I was out at the Welwyn Garden City MRE when it came through, so I set my camera up at the bottom of my garden to capture the moment whilst I was away. I ended up with two hours of WCML footage, some of which can be seen in the video.

I hope you enjoy! I am hoping I will be available to film the next railtour through properly.

My third video of the year. 60009 'Union of South Africa' on RYTCs 'The Chesireman' Euston - Chester return. Only the outward trip here since she was 25 minutes early on the way back. I did manage to see her in the evening, as she was dropping off passengers my friend and I heard her standing in the platform from the car park. We promptly ran to the platform and just managed to get to her as she started pulling away.

Got blocked in the morning as well. My bad luck this year has continued, something to do with the 13 in 2013? Who knows...

Low battery had me a bit worried, but I managed to get decent footage of 45231 'The Sherwood Forester' passing through Watford today from Carnforth on her way to Southall. She was running 10 minutes early at 18:06.
