I think it was a tasty rabbit Terrier, a long time ago since I took that photo! I am glad you have been enjoying my thread thus far!

Here is the video I made of my Gypsy Lane visit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9IFO0DMFg0

It is rather nice cycling up Gypsy Lane to that bridge; it is a very old lane, high hedgerows either side. I expect it hasn't changed in appearence for well over a century; other than a tarmac path being added...but still very charming.

Hi Peter, regardless of where you are filming DoG I’m sure it will be good! I looks like you are in a good area to watch a lot of famous trains pass by almost on your doorstep. I have to wait till July for Tornado to pass through Staines!

Cheers,

Stuart.

Well, to be honest we don't get as much as a lot of other lines; a steamer every 2 or 3 months or so. Although in saying that, I did just see 71000 DoG pass as I was on the phone to my cousin. I wasn't expecting her, so it was a bit of surprise - lucky I was looking out of the window at the time (about 17:30).

Hi Peter,

Looks good! I'm looking forward to that video. DoG certainly looks impressive. Those pictures you took in the dark almost looked like it was pouring down with rain or snowing! Still they are quite atmospheric those pictures and seem to give DoG a somewhat commanding presence at the platform.

Cheers,

Stuart

What with the fine weather we have had today, I decided to combine Afternoon Tea, a BBQ and Camel Spotting together to create quite a pleasant day.

Myself enjoying Afternoon Tea.

6201 Princess Elizabeth passing through Watford tomorrow. At 08:05 and later at 20:30. I shall naturally be filming her passage, just trimming the embankment to get a better view at the moment!

I hope you enjoy! I shall be doing a little photoshopping on some of them later, also the video will probably be done tomorrow after I have filmed 6201 heading back to Euston through Watford Junction itself.

Two Britannia's in two days! I have 70000 'Britannia' passing through Watford on Friday 6th May at 09:30 on a light engine movement, and then 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' on 'The Yorkshireman' on Saturday 7th May (which I shall be on - my first railtour don't you know!). So it is all happening down here!
