Nokia camera phone

Postby lozstlouis » Thu Mar 20, 2008 12:59 pm

So my new work phone is a Nokia 6300 with a 2meg camera. Handy as I always have it in my pcoket, unlike my "proper" camera. Takes some getting used to as the pics below show:

How I love the new first livery. Can you tell me what unit that is in the last picture? Not seen one before.

The last one is a Heathrow Express. It operates out of Paddington - 15mins to the airport. £13 single. Those pics were taken from Ealing Broadway - Tube (Central Line & District Line), plus bits of freight, FGW HSTs, Heathrow Express, Heathrow Connect, plus a mix of other odds and sods going to Reading & Oxford as stopper services.

They're pretty good for a camera phone! Well done.

i must be getting old - & i am 32... what am i thinking?? 20 years ago when i was a boy having a camera in your pocket the size of a match box wasn't quite science fiction - there were afterall "pin-hole-cameras" but the results were nothing like these...

Anyway I need to master it as i could snap so much stock whilst just going about my day to day biz that i'd be daft not too!!

Good pictures.

I like the one of the empty platform with just the 1 guy waiting.

The light level is very low and al a bit funky so you need better kit to do it justice. You get the idea though with the phone camera thing.
