Good photos, I like York very much.

Grand Central is the new open-access operator from Sunderland to Kings Cross. The HST has had many problems and the service isn't running at full capacity yet.

orite glad to get that cleared up, i thought it may have been a test train like the network rail (yellow) hst but there was a few people on it.

I like york a lot too, but it doesn't get much through freight like doncaster does, and although doncaster is closer to me, its £5 cheaper to go to york so i go there for the longer ride.

Nice pics!

The other Grand Central 125 set has just been delivered to Heaton, so it should be up and running very soon.

Neither had i until today, i saw it as i was pulling in, got off and there was the network rail 86 behind my train so was quite chuffed to see so much from the very beginning although i could have waited for the valentines day special, which was apparently the two black 67's.

Image heres a video that i just took of a 66 going past my garden hope its not too shakey.

Thomas its a repaint of a former DRS loco, so basically same livery but new logo and decal on.

Matt some great pics there especially the last pic showing the 47 and 66.

Why do they have the buffers attached? Other HSTs apart from the yellow thing don't have them?

Are you sure about that?! I think you mean the 'Royal' liveried ones surely.
