Members Page

Postby saslord » Wed Feb 14, 2007 1:33 pm

It was suggested that the member’s page could be updated.

For this reason I will be making it into a list of members and their personal layout thread and their own personal layout website if they have one. The page will also have a brief description of the layout.

So If you would like to be included please post the following.

1. Name: actual or forum name.
2. URL to your profile:
3. URL to you personal layout thread(s) and layout website if you have one.
4. Description of your layout or layouts.
5. A picture of your layout.

I will try and begin adding these tonight.

4) Llandublo
A large OO scale layout (15ft by 10ft) based on the North Wales Coast line in the early 80s BR blue period. The layout features Conwy Castle and the Stephenson tubular bridge and has 2 main lines and 2 branch lines.
The layout was started in April 2006 and I would say it's about 70% complete (Feb 2007).

The layout measures 5' by 4' and is currently under construction. Masters way TMD regularly carrys out maintenance on EWS, DRS and Freightliner locos plus many more. The wagon repair depot is pretty much the same in the respect it carrys out maintenance on anything and everything to do with wagons!

DC currently, and a work in progress [which you can see with photos of everything i do!] Youtube videos are available from the thread pages but this takes you to the latest one and you can find the rest from there. I'm trying to do as much as possible on a shoe string when it comes to the modelling side [ as the track and trains cost soo much and are vital] and have shared any things i have come up with in the spirit of the forums!

4. Description: Atkinston is a layout that is still in the basic stages. It runs anything from 1920s/30s steam locomotives, through to the last days of steam, early diesels, 1970s and modern. Yes, it runs whatever I want it to run! At the moment, stock present are Flying Scotsman, Duchess of Sutherland, 101, 1203 and Virgin HST. It is based in a busy industrial town, much like Rochdale and Bolton. Station with three tracks and two platforms, one is an island platform. Based on the Hornby TrakMat but modified to my tastes. Please note, the picture shows a third siding on the edge of the board at the front, this is not present anymore. New picture coming soon.
