I only use Railmatch for Airbrushing, but I've got one or two pots of humbrol which I use to brush paint fine detail, like the Red and Yellow Taps and Connectors on Airbrake Pipes.

I've always got the result I wanted with Railmatch, so have never needed to explore other paints.

Hi absolutely brilliant article but where do you get the HMRS transfers?

Models shops may stock them, failing that off the old HRMS transfers website.

7 Years on.... still a great article which has helped me immensely.

My question however is:

When you spray the varnish, do you mask around the area you want spray or do you spray the whole loco?
