I built some and used glossy Photo Paper they look so much better, I also used them for my station signs on my platform.

what method for cutting them out did you use? did you use a knife, scissors or your teeth like the author did?

I used a very shape knife.
and sissors for other signs both seem to work very well.

What I used was electrical crimps (http://www.railway-technology.com/contr ... r-ring.jpg - the ones with just a stick poking out...best picture i could use to show what i use).
