Hi Bill

Yep, that's what we want, extension! Only just caught up with the last video offerings BTW mate. Top drawer as ever ;) Must say I do really like that green DMU on your layout :)

Cheers

Sounds good bill, and hopefully the extension permits will be granted.

I will when i get broadband again, revisit yours and others thread and view pictures and videos. As dial up is so friggin annoying, and i am an impatient bugger with the internet anyway.

Hi Matt !!!!!!!

Thanks for the compliments but realy it isn't that good. There are far better layouts on the forum. Ones that I admire but shall remain nameless. But thanks a million all the same.
Below is my old original thread from when I first started. "Lilford Park" grew out of that. As you can guess it was my first attempt at railway modelling.

Hi Chaps !!!!!!

Just checking in to let you know I'm still around. Little or no layout work done but I was up there yesterday for an hour or so to give the stock a work out and to get some relaxation with my pint and rolly.

The wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary last week so we flew to London for a few days. On the actual day we took the Eurostar to Paris for the day. WOW, was I impressed!!!!! No doubt many of you have traveled on it so you know what I mean.

I took video of the whole of our trip which includes some on Eurostar and the station in Paris. I'll cobble the Eurostar bit together if any one want's to see it, it's only about a minute. Just let me know.

Cheers to you all and take care.

My Very Best regards

BILL.

Hi Bill!

Congrats you old romantic ;) Sounds like you had a great time. Still haven't been on a Eurostar myself so you certainly beat me to it!

As for the video, I for one will take a look ;)

Cheers fella

Congrats Bill and nice to hear from you. We went on Eurostar a couple of years ago and when we bought the tickets were upgraded to 1st Class - very impressive :D Not sure what the others thought as we got on with our two (one aged 3 and the other 9 at the time!) :P

Nearly a hundred pages so lets see that vid as that would be a good way to get there especially if interspliced (sic) with video of the layout!!!

Hi Chaps !!!!!

Thanks for all the kind words.

I'll Post a short video today. It won't be up to much it's just part of a presentation of the whole trip.

My Very Best Regards to you all

Hi Chaps !!

Well here it is. I left the sound on the video shots just for a bit of atmos.

A few Notes---The geezer infront of the locomotive is not, I repeat not in anyway associated with us. But the female is the wife.
If the wife knows I have thrown in the last photo I am history.
It's a little longer than anticipated.
Only watch if you like seeing other people's holiday snaps.

Good luck and My Very Best Regards To You All

BILL.

Good old Paris Nord - always good to see the variety of stock there . Thalys , Tgv , Chocolate/orange BB 16100.
Sounds like you had a great trip Bill.

I'm booked on the New super-duper high speed Eurostar service from Paris to St Pancras for the Warley NEC show in December - 2 hrs 20 mins !!
Some top prices available too if you book more than a month in advance.

Best wishes
Ron
