Hi Chaps !!!!!

At last !!!!! I managed to aquire three Mk3 coaches of the bay at reasonable money. I've been after some for my 125s for ages and I seem to just miss them, you know what it's like.

One of the 125s is acting up and I think it needs a new motor( it isn't brushes, they've been done) has anyone of you fitted a new motor to the said type of locomotive?

I had my Standard Class 4 running yesterday for a change. Thought I'd drop a couple of photos on.

The Long And Winding Road.

Looks great Bill! Can't help you with the 125's, but are you going to ballast the track or leave it as it is :?:

Hi Craig !!!

Thanks mate !!

No, no I'm not going to ballast between the rails. The layout is rigged for silent running if you get my meaning.

Best Regards

BILL.

Fantastic pics Bill. What livery 125s are you running?

I really want a blue/grey one for my layout but they go for lots of money in N :(

Hi MrT !!!!!

My 125s are both in the original BR Blue. There is just something about them I like and I can't put my finger on it.

Best Regards

Ditto

And ditto! It's just a pity I've not been able to track down a you tube of one. Plenty in original exec livery thankfully and I may buy a 'Swallow' livery when (one day) I have an income again!

Someone did a 'Large logo' job on photoshop. Looks interesting even if totally ficticious!

And check out this APT!

Bill,

lovely photos as always. I do like to see a steam-hauled mixed goods.

Very long freight train there, can you reach all the way around your layout with one train?

Hi Chaps!!!!!

Look what my dear daughter scavenged for me. It was being thrown out at the beginning of last term at the school where she teaches. I've only just got to it.

Doesn't she just think of her dad

It was in a worse state but I've just finished giving it a lick of Brasso. The brass coating has come off the copper, or the other way round?

I'm just going to try and get up some steam. The wife has just gone out for an hour and I know there should be an adult present when playing with these sort of things but what the hell :D

If you don't here from me for a while I'll be in the burns unit at the locoal hospital. Hope I'm not tempting fate with that remark

Did that shot of my 125s just for you bill, are they the livery youve got or slightly different.

Ahh! A good old Mamod engine. I am part of the club myself. Have a traction engine and two stationary engines. Great fun.
