Look out chaps !!

Got a new camera.

Wasn't going to buy an XD card for twice the money I can get one of the bay for so till it arrives I'm limited to half a dozen photos or 5 secs of video before I have to come down from the train room to down load them. So whatever I put on the thred in the next few hours, rest assured, I shall have had a fair bit of exercise.

My Best Regards

BILL.

Sorry Chaps, there's more

My delivery came from Hattons at lunch time. Thought I'd put a little life into Liford Park and try the camera again.

Hi Bill!

Jeez matey, yet again the pics get better and better. Utterly love the old Bristol bus. Is the other an old RT? And a lorry filled with 'medicine' of the Joshua Tetley variety  Great overall views too.

Cheers

Great pictures, i love the vehicles, its always good to see plenty of accessories instead of just the locos, the town looks very busy, are there any green areas or is it just town based?

That looking even better with the town coming to life gives it more of a purpose about it. Nice one

It's all been said already Bill, those wider angle corner shots though are awesome...I love the amount of scenic items you have put between the two sets of running lines, look amazing.

We love your pics!

Hi Chaps !!!

First up, thanks to you all for your very kind comments.

Second up, there are a few questions to answer.

Michael.............. Here's a shot of what's behind me where I sit. (you can see the chair) There is alot of work to do as you can see and if and when it's done I will very rairly see it from my seat. That's why it's in abayance. I was thinking of a golf course and club house for it. You can also see that the tunnel entrances need internal walling etc.

Image

Tim........The buses are an AEC Regent (on the right) and a Daimler CWA6/Duple in front of the market. (That one is in Douglas Corporation Transport Livery, Douglas being the I-O-M Capital. That bus is preserved and is usualy garaged just down the road from me but it isn't there at the moment. I'll take a photo of it next time it is there to show you).

Eggbert17...........The layout is town based with a park. I had to build it from the back forwards. I wanted a park so I made it so I could remove it to get to the back of the layout if need be. The park is all one piece and I never planned the layout I just took it a bit at a time.

Gav............I have just looked at the wide angle shot this morning. I didn't realise it had both corners in it. It's the lens on the new camera. The next two shots after that are from the same place (sitting in my chair) but I used the zoom lens. The lens goes from 28mm to 300mm.
Now I take a good look I'm well chuffed with the results.

My IGB memory card should arrive today so I will be testing the video. What bit I have tried is not bad but I will reserve jugement till I really give it a go.

Once again my thanks to you all for your comments and interest.

My Very Best regards

BILL.
