Re: Toton Great Central Railway! 2 new loco's up for sale!

Postby iankemp » Sat Aug 14, 2010 1:31 pm

the one that may look out of place would be Tornado as it wasn't even thought about when BR was about! But hay ho i am sure it would look ok on it as a "new build!"

Everything on this layout has been put on hold as i am having thoughts of morphing it in to a part Scottish theme as i am going to be moving to the Strathclyde region of Scotland so i will be needing every penny to do that! Then once moved i will try and start on it again!! it may end up a round the room layout!!! hmmmm Loughborough GCR Toton and part Scottish?

Thought i would drag this back from the 2nd page.

I have reduced the prices of the items for sale.

I have been putting 3 link couplings on some of my railfreight wagons and also putting screw link couplings on some of the class 37's and Peaks that had got the fake screw link couplings on! I can say i have been thinking about putting catenary on my layout and i may do it on the main line but leave the sidings area alone for now. But at the moment till i have moved home and got it all set up i can't do much at the min! Hence selling some stuff!!!

whilst i am waiting to sell my unwanted items that no longer fit in with my layout, I have been working on a hornby class 25 and turning it in to an ethel unit. It will be Ethel 1 ADB97250. It is unpowered and will be hauled behind s class 37 large logo br blue! I have decided to give the layout a Scottish touch.

sorry about the pic quality i took it with my camera phone.

It not finished yet and i have detailing to add to it still!
