I like the little building/hut at the right end of the layout

Lofty i scratch built that building first attempt too if you look here http://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Fo ... +worktable you can see a bit of it being built its made from slaters plasticard , balsa wood , dornplas doors & windows & some vents off a old hornby loco depot.

It caught my eye because its very much like a little cluster of buildings at Thornaby, I guess it’s a BR thing

Yeah that is based on llandudno junction im going to repainted its to red i need a brick red & a black wash.
Still not sure wether its going to feature on the layout yet might replace it with a portacabin kit.

Hi

It looks nice, suitably 'tatty'.
I'm not convinced by the sticky up bush bits though, they detract a bit from the rest of the scenery which is excellent. Are you going to leave them like that, they just seem a bit isolated in single clumps, maybe add a bit more bushyness around them?

Of course it might just be me!

It's certainly an effective layout.

as i said its only complete to basic form alote more to do yet maybe like you say pete a bit more bushyness i,ll work on it a bit more im not sure still about my depot building

Right it did its first show last weekend at the LYDCC show in Rawtenstall great show aswell. So here are a few pictures of it in it is 90% finished form. It is also to feature in a future 2 turnout theme on www.arendt.us Carl Arendts great online magazine.

their is the pendle forest model railway show at park high school colne in november & im not sure about the rest expo em north aswell over huddersfield way too.
