Well with the trip to B&Q over what a stroke of luck so far in total my baseboard top has cost the sumly price of £3.94 & its a 4 x 2sheet of MDF so thats part of the backscene done so my baseboard total will be somewhere around £6.50 complete i dont think i am doing to bad.

hello all im gettin my wood 2moz n hopefully making a cracking start i have the trains n power n track ready to go , just thinkin about buildings at the moment , as tinsleytmd said its small , i was going to have a station a good yard n maybe a loco shed but i done think it will fit :( , anyway any takers to this ??????? come on more people have got to join in after all its for fun n practice :D and learning new things!!!!!!

Yeah as Adam rightly said its only small i have just bought my 2X1 plained wood so thats the baseboard built & all for the total costing of:

4ft x 2ft MDF @ B&Q = £3.94.

15ft , 2 x 1 @ local builders yard = £2.62.


total £6.56.

dirt cheap pocket money.

how the hell do you work that out 4 sqaure feet ????

i think you may need contact lenses

4 squared is 16... 4 square feet is 16 feet

you mean the 4x2feet challenge

Gladders, that you're thinking four feet squared.

Tinsley, if this is for the RMWeb challenge I think it's six square feet.

rmweb is a maximum of 6ft you dont need to use it i know the rules i checked anyway enough of the in,s & outs lets have some takers come & join the NRM 4ft plank challenge
