IKB was a limited edition done by Rail express i believe. Check out e-bay, usually on there every now and then.

Decided i did not like the red welshman plate next to the tail lights, every time i looked at it it seemed as if there was something wrong with the lights!

So the neat little pathefinder goes on tour!

60016 Rail was next on the to do list.

Image

I dont like the clean wheels and bogie sideframes, even if a loco has been cleaned these are nearly always dirty /rusty

Image

So i picked a mix of rust and sleeper grime to weather down the wheels

Image

Image

I soaked the printed numbers /letters in micro sol and then i use a scalple blade to push the paint off when its softened. Sometimes a fibre glass pencil removes stubon bits.

Image

and they come off ok (to me!)

Image

I use fox number sets to put the new Ews letters and numbers on and shawplan nameplates + beastie for cab ends

Image

and thus another 60 is ready to be stored by DB! not really, my period is 2003 + - 3 years so plenty of Tug work to do yet.

Couple more class 60 ready for action, though there wont be much as Rimenough is having a break (in the middle!) while i take it down and finish Oliver's Road Rmd.

anyway, class 60045 & 60070 are ready for service. Both have light weathering and of course sound.
