As the others have said - wonderful stuff Gav.

Glad you survived your battle with the Red Palm Weevils. Must be nice to come back and run trains after all the excitement.

John.

Very nice Gav, I do like the atmosphere a lot 8)

I shan't ask what myself and Bill got up to on that roof :|

BTW, have to ask, what's with the curvy hedge behind that good shed?

Thanks as ever guys, you're all too kind.....

A few responses.....

I had you checking the headlights Tim as you seem a technical kind of guy........even though the truck is brand new I could still see you tinkering with it.....

Thanks Ian, I haven't forgotton you and Ron on my mini-men commentary, just need to get a better pic...

Hey Derek, yes the old backscene was a Spavo production! It seems to look ok now that other stuff is on the layout but I sure ain't no artist! The long girder bridge to the front of the layout I made myself with 5 pieces of normal girder bridge, cut at angles to hide the joins and glued to wood, I am honoured that you seem to think I got it from somewhere which is a very nice feeling!

Ta Lofty & BR, Class 60, John, you're all very welcome, I am loving doing this layout....

George.....that hedge, what it is, is sh*t, I have plans to make amends, it would have been ok without the heart shaped bit on the middle, watch out, I have called sub contractors in to repair the foolish error! And don't worry about you and Bill on the roof, it was only as bit of spotting, nothing illegal or sinister!

Thanks again, a long week ahead so I will try best I can to get the video done as well as the working video for the OO layout.

All the best and have a great week.

Excellent photos Gav. I agree 100% about the trees , it looks a bit sparse on the hills at the moment. So that's it finished then ? - what next ? Z !!!!

Same for me on the 3rd one as well.

Lovely vids though, Gav. You've got the arch retaining wall colours spot on now.

Don't know how I'm going to pass the time now you've no more major updates for us :(

Brilliant work mate,

John.

Ha ha. Had plenty of those myself - usually when the train is at the top of the incline and I am on the other side of the baseboards. Have to just stand and watch with fingers crossed as they hurtle back down the gradient. Remember that scene from "Breakheart Pass"?

Excellent Gav! Lovely layout and an inspiration to all. What's the piece of music in the 1st video (Western)? I've been looking for it but can't remember the name.

Nice one Gav. Just listened to my beloved Charlton slip out of the Premier League so I needed somat to make me chuckle :)

And it's not just 'n' gauge couplings that do it! It usually happens at the other end of the garden in '00' I have found!

Cheers mate

Thanks Chaps,

I have updated the out take video now so it plays the full vid, not sure what happened there.....

Hey Tim, you know I am a Watford man so at least we'll still get to play each other next season!

Hey Les, that music is Booker T and the MG's, Time is Tight, one of my fave old Wigan Casino numbers of all time!
