Simple OO Gauge Test Layout

Post by Villeneuve »

Hello,
I'm going to build a very simple and basic track test layout. No scenery or greenery at this moment. The baseboard is already built. It is 98 cm x 130 cm in size on 15 mm chipboard. The track is simply nailed down. There will be two DC controllers. I'll use Hornby track and Peco points.
This video gave me the idea: Kittyhawk & Stingray 00 gauge train Test Tracks
All your comments, advices and criticism will be greatly appreciated. :D :D :D

I really like the entrance and exit tracks to the outer loop. This is a design that beckons a couple of straights to elongate it for a
fuller sized layout. Impressive.

A very good idea. But I don't have enough space (and probably never will) to build a larger layout.  :|

The whole track has been laid. More update later. Please be patient ...

Unfortunately, I have only one DC controller at the moment, but the trains run very well. I'm very pleased with the result so far. :D :D :D
