I've been working on my turntable. The plan is to use a stepper motor and a home-brew controller to make it move precisely to the right place from a single button push.

Here's the motor mounting:

I still need to take my test circuit over to a PCB or some veroboard, and I still need to wire it into my control panel, but it is progress!

That video shows beautifully smooth operation :D = both the loco on/off the turntable, and table rotation itself. Fantastic job!

Love the turntable video. Really smooth and precise. Really nice to see such good running. It’s is doubly impressive (to me at least) that this is in N. Too fiddly for me but your doing a great job of it
