I borrowed locomotive 46225 Duchess of Gloucester for a couple of days.

I am 'smitten'.

The first of two purchases has arrived. :D

5699 'Galatea'. Galatea was based in Leeds, albeit only a short while. A few circuits of the layout before photos.

Hi Glencairn,

So where did the Eagle come from ?
Or are you pictures just making some of your scenery look like an eagle ?

Flying through the scrub and then later taking off from a wall

I want one !!

Hi Geoff.

The eagle is from the Langley Models range of products. It was in a pack of 10 birds painted. I bought it from my local model shop. (I must give him a visit. I haven't seen him since March/April. When I visit him do you want me to get you a packet? (If he has any left).

The lad on the quad bike is a picture of my son supposedly rounding up the sheep (genuine.) Here, he is just train spotting.

Ah! When grandson Number 1 visits the darn things are everywhere.
"Have you got them all?" I ask when he leaves.
A reply of 'Yes' does not mean a thing. Heroes and Villains are found everywhere. In gardens. In fields. On the platform.------- ------

One is in a world of fantasy. A world long gone. Thirty minutes of wonderful L M S madness.

The scenery around Crown Point Yard is rather 'cobbled together' and badly imo. Therefore when I get 'five minutes' by myself the area is next to be tackled. A list of jobs is being made.

A new wall to be built around the yard.
IMG_3979.JPG

Some new track required.

Footbridge and pathway

Signalling

Scenery.

That will do for a little while.

New Industrial Units have arrived and assembled. A change around in the small Industrial Park has been made.

Now when the Grandchildren arrive and play with the road transport (instead of running trains), they have more places to put wagons.

Next job will be to tidy the road area.
