It is a Kleinbahn (of Austria) make.

I did have a UK style 75t crane, but was 'a pain to run'. Therefore I sold it.
I wanted something more simpler and did look at the Lima model.
Not liking the Lima model I began looking elsewhere.

Whilst looking for a couple of little HO gauge coaches I stumbled upon Kleinbahn. A make I had not heard of before.
Liking the look of their 45t crane, a purchase was made. It runs well and looks okay (imo) with the OO gauge Engineers coach and wagons.

Changes are always been made, especially scenery. :) I am getting more confident in 'having a go' at making things. (Not up to your standard though, manna.) The new industrial unit was rather daunting at first. It took me three weeks to even begin; then I was surprised how easy it came together.

Whilst Jimmy Marston is still 'fixing' the wheel, to the right is a new Hillman Imp

Charlie Marston must have sold an engine maybe and bought his wife Agnes the car.

As I am on about cars, my younger granddaughter bought me this old timer'. It now has pride of place at Roseville Station.

Another purchase. A Walls Ice Cream Van. Waiting at Roseville Station level crossing as Class 25 25218 passes with a York to Leeds Central local train.

Not done any modelling on the layout for a little while. Just spent time running trains. Keeping it fun.

G'Day Gents

Amazing how cars can date a layout. As soon as you see a Hillman Imp, you think late 60's, early 70's, don't see many of those cars anymore.

Can't help wondering if the 25's driver has stopped to buy an ice-cream?

I bought an old Imp in 1976, it was quite old but not sure on it’s exact year.
Once upon a time I built a model railway in the loft. Now I dabble on much smaller baseboards.

The local car sales have been doing well.

Hillman Imp, I remember taking some driving lessons in one. Very early in their
period, must have been early 1960's, '62, or 3 ?
The clutch wouldn't take driving school treatment so I finished my lessons in a
Ford 105E Anglia. Passed my test in the Anglia in 1963.

MMmmm the heading Diesels ??? The locos may have been, but not the cars in
those days !! I should remember it well I was 21 in May '63 and having a great
time.

The Hillman Imp had a production run from 1963 until 1976. That will suit me. :D
