A talking point on the High Street indeed.

About one third of the layout complete. The newly acquired ) gauge Terrier will have to wait.

Coaches seem a problem. I'm no rivet counter so a couple of small units, something like the Ratio offerings but RTR....can't be involved in building from kits. Actually something like a push/pull combo would be great as I don't tend to swap locos around very often or not at all.

Any suggestions welcome. :)

How about a loco and an autocoach?

Yes, that is travelling, autocoach first! :)

Whilst looking for a picture of an autocoach I also found this that may be useful, albeit way to expensive on amazon!

Like it.

Actually I wouldn't be averse to repainting a GWR to Southern.

Thanks.

Just started the dock end of the layout.

Got to get this layout finished.....or as much as most are finished, the O gauge Terrier is causing a mighty itch, the temptation to scratch it is becoming somewhat troublesome. ;)

Really coming along nicely Brian, you must be pleased. Im looking forward to future developments in your docks area. And must say, Im astounded by the quality in buildings and general scenic work.

Josh you will make an old man blush.

However it must be said, I do the scenics and my wife is in charge of the building g side.

I had a layout about 12 yearsago, often reported on this forum. Then I lost my first wife and gave up. Recently, well four years ago I re-married....at an age near to Methuselah. My new wife talked me into starting again and she has thrown herself into it with great gusto,

Anyway the layout seems to be coming together. Trouble is every time I park the car the twenty feet shelf seems to be demanding attention and my 0 gauge Terrier is pining for company. ;)
